Ajman: A worker tweeted for help from the Police and Health authorities for medical assistance. The Ajman police after seeing the tweet for help, assisted an ill Asian worker. The worker feared to have contracted coronavirus. He also criticizes his company for not rendering any kind of help and assistance.
Major Mohamed bin Yafor Al Ghafli, deputy director of Criminal Investigation Department in Ajman Police, said that when they saw the tweet, CID officers swung into action and reached the worker at his accommodation in Al jarf industrial area 2.

The worker was found reeling under high fever, cough, and dyspnea. The Police requested Ajman Medical Zone to rush a medical crew and ambulance to the accommodation of the worker and the medical staff carried out examinations and laboratary tests.
To his favor, the man was suffering from influenza and cold but did had no coronavirus infection.

“We have also communicated with the company representative and notified him to follow up on the workers’ health condition and provide them the required medical care in light of the current crisis,” Al Ghafli said.
He urged the company owners to keep a regular check on the health of workers, and ensure their commitment to the precautionary measures that prevent the spread of the virus.
