283 new cases in UAE: Home delivery of medicines expanded

283 new cases of COVID-19 in UAE. 

The Health and Prevention Ministry of UAE announced 283 new confirmed cases on Tuesday. The total number of people affected in UAE rise up to 2359. The death tolls raised to 12 with the recent death of an Asian who suffered from chronic diseases. The total number of recoveries raised to 186.

The ministry stated that some of the cases are due to the lack of care and safety as well as due to not practicing social distancing and quarantine procedures properly.

Abu Dhabi has expanded medicine delivery services at home from pharmacies as a new initiative by the Department of Health. All the DoH-licensed pharmacies in government and private sectors can stick to the policies and guidelines of the Health Department and deliver medicines at doorsteps. Patients can also reach out to pharmacies directly to take new orders.
