UAE Ministry of Health conducts over 49,000 COVID-19 tests to intensify virus screening to combat the spread of the pandemic. This intensified process helped the authorities to detect 370 new cases among various nationalities.

United Arab Emirates: The Health Ministry conducted over 49,000 COVID-19 tests among UAE citizens and residents using state-of-the-art technology to intensify virus screening in order to bring the disease under control. The new measures helped detect 370 new coronavirus cases among various nationalities. All those people are said to be in stable condition after giving necessary health care.

As per the MoHaP statement, the total number of infections in the country rise up to 3,360. It also announced the death of two patients who suffered from COVID-19. They had a pre-existing illnesses which prompted their deaths. The total number of deaths reached 16.

The Ministry expressed its sincere condolences to the families of the deceased and wished a speedy recovery to all patients. It also urged the public to cooperate with the health authorities and comply with the lock-down and disinfection measured. Social distancing and avoiding contraction is the only way to control the spread as of now.

The Ministry also announced the full recovery of 150 new cases after receiving the necessary treatment, taking to 418 the total of those now recovered from the virus in the UAE.
