Sheikh Mohammed pardons 874 prisoners: Ramadan 2020. Earlier, the UAE President had ordered the release of 1,511 prisoners serving various sentences in the UAE.

 

UAE: Sheikh Mohammed pardoned 874 prisoners in the UAE as the holy month of Ramadan starts.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum is the Vice President and the Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. On Wednesday he ordered the release of 874 inmates.

The President of UAE, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, had ordered the release of 1,511 prisoners from the UAE prisons. Theses prisoners were serving various sentences in the UAE.

His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuami, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman has also ordered the release of 124 prisoners.

His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain has also ordered the release of a number of prisoners.
