New cases of COVID-19 in the UAE: UAE announces 432 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday and is equipped with the capacity to conduct 10,000 tests daily, including at hospitals and out-patient clinics.

UAE: The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention on Wednesday announced 432 new confirmed coronavirus cases. The total number of confirmed cases in the UAE is 5,365.

The Ministry also reported 101 recoveries on Wednesday. The total number of recoveries are now more than 1,034.

The total death toll raised to 33 on Wednesday with the death of 5 expats who were tested positive and dies of the complications of the COVID-19 virus. The Ministry expressed sincere condolences to the families of the diseased.

The UAE has conducted more than 767,000 COVID-19 tests until now. Priorities are given to conducting advanced tests and isolating positive cases immediately.

To detect cases early, the UAE has opened 14 drive-through testing facilities that can screen hundreds of people daily without them having any direct contact with healthcare workers. The health authorities said up to 7,100 people can be tested every day with the new drive-through testing facilities established across the country.

The country now has the capacity to conduct 10,000 tests daily, including at hospitals and out-patient clinics.
