Top states of India with the most numbers of confirmed cases are;
India records 5,164 deaths, 89,995 active cases, 182, 143 total cases. The world records a total of 370,078 deaths and 6,108,525 total cases. Top countries affected by COVID-19 are the US, Brazil, Russia, UK, Spain, Italy, France, Germany, India, and Turkey.
As per the latest update, with the biggest spike so far of 8,392 cases in the last 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 tally has now reached 1,90,535. As per the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare released on Monday, 230 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours in India taking the total death toll to 5,394. There are 93,322 active cases, while 91,819 people have been cured/discharged/migrated, the ministry said. India has now moved to the seventh spot among the top ten worst-affected countries in the world by COVID-19 pandemic. Amid the rapidly rising coronavirus cases, the government has decided to relax lockdown rules from today, June 1. A complete nationwide lockdown was announced in March 25 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Initially, the lockdown was announced for 21 days, however, with COVID-19 cases spreading fast, it has been extended four times.
