British PM Boris Johnson has been admitted in the hospital and is in the intensive care unit at St. Thomas’s Hospital in London since yesterday.

Boris Johnson who was in isolation since March 27, has been taken to the intensive care unit on Monday afternoon as his condition got worse. He was seen to have been shaking hands with patients tested positive of coronavirus while he visited a hospital and the contraction might have occurred from there.

The duties and responsibilities of Mr. Johnson could be passed to Mr. Dominic Raab, the first secretary of state and foreign secretary.

The UK’s condition is similar to that of Italy considering the horrific death tolls and increased COVID-19 cases. The epidemiologists suggest that the outbreak would be on peak in a week to 10 days.
