Border Tensions Rise Up between Indian & China: Several Soldiers Injured in Clashes in Ladakh and Sikkim. Violent clashes and stone spelling took place in the borders between rival troops in Ladakh and Sikkim. This has left several soldiers wounded and injured on both sides.

Delhi: The border tensions and issues with China flared up due to continuous stone spelling and violent clashes occurred in Ladakh and Sikkim borders. Several soldiers are injured on both sides and incidents took place for shorter durations.

The clash has made both countries to send in additional troops for safety reasons. The Army officials stated the incidents as short and temporary face-offs between the border security forces of both countries.

This will be resolved by local commanders as per mutually agreed protocols. It will be done through dialogue and flag meetings.

‘Aggressive behavior by the two sides resulted in minor injuries to some troops. Such confrontations routinely occur during summers due to differing perceptions about the unresolved boundary’, said a senior army officer.
