277 new COVID-19 cases & 23 recoveries on Monday: UAE

277 new positive cases and 23 recoveries are registered in the country yesterday. An Asian was reported dead and the total death toll raised to 11. Total cases in UAE are 2076.

The UAE Is set out to intensify the screening process on war foot as 277 cases were confirmed on Monday alone whereas the recovery recorded was 23. The total number of recoveries in the UAE is only 167.

Meanwhile, Dubai launches extensive efforts to sterilize 800 mosques with immediate effect. The sterilization processes are handled with best in class products and disinfectants.

The spokeswoman for MoHAP, Dr. Farida Al Hosani said that the screening process will be magnified and testing will be done for all residents and nationals alike. She said, “We are working together to find solutions for all challenges within 48 hours”. Dubai Taxi corporation also stated that it will install separation screens in its fleet of taxis to prevent virus spread.
