A hashtag has been spreading with title #uninstall Whatsapp in Twitter recently. A twitter used started filing a petition online explaining that ‘A megastar and a renowned industrialist are falling prey to fake news & bizarre content being fed to them via WhatsApp. We need to restore the dignity of two gentlemen. Through this petition, we are requesting Mark Zuckerberg to disable Whatsapp on their numbers’.

Though this hashtag and petitions seemed funny, it is been trending in Twitter.

Mr. Bachchan has tweeted 2-3 news on twitter which he removed after finding them fake. The last tweet came from Amitabh Bachchan yesterday. Still, Mr. Bachchan or Mr. Anand Mahindra have not responded to this request.
