Passenger flight post COVID-19 suspension – Flights from Dubai

Emirates received approvals to transport passengers on certain flights. This is the first passenger flight program after the suspension of entire flights due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

The flights will commence from Dubai to London Heathrow, Paris, Frankfurt, Brussels, and Zurich effective from April 06. The flights will carry only outbound passengers and will operate only from Dubai International Airport Terminal 2 until further instructions.

Emirates also carries a belly-hold cargo in both directions to support trade and commercial activities. It will include transport of essential goods to meet the necessities during coronavirus pandemic.

The passengers will have to meet the entry requirements to be eligible for flight. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates airline and Group said, ‘We are working closely with the authorities to resume our services, keeping in mind the safety and wellbeing of our crew and customers at every step of the journey. We continuously review the situation and will announce any additional services as they become available’.

Flight tickets can be booked by eligible passengers on www.emirates.com

All passengers and aircraft will undergo stringent cleansing and disinfection processes in Dubai.
